How to Flush Windows DNS Cache?

Hey! , Typically There is 3 Type of Caches in windows Which you can flush easily:

  1. Memory Cache.
  2. DNS Cache.
  3. Thumbnails Cache.

What are the Benefits of Cache Flushing?

Clearing the Memory Cache Can Free Up some System Memory and Clearing The Thumbnail Cache can Free up Space on Hard Disk. And Clearing The DNS Cache Can fix your Internet Connection and Corrupted DNS Cache Problem.

Flush Windows DNS Cache

Open administrative Command Prompt Window. Then type Below Command, See above Image for better understanding.

ipconfig /flushdns

You Will get Confirmation Message something Like Windows IP Configuration. Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.

Display DNS Cache

If you wish to confirm if the DNS cache has been cleared, you can type the following command and hit Enter:

ipconfig /displaydns
